Inspired by Heritage was a programme of six commissions and residences for contemporary artists and makers  based in North Yorkshire. Each residency was designed to offer the artist the opportunity to create new work inspired by a specific collection or heritage site, and to contribute to the development of their professional practice. The project took place in partnership with the Mercer Art Gallery, Harrogate and the selected artists were Fiona Bowley, Tessa Bunney, Andrew Cheetham, Lynne Glazzard, Jackie Hunt, Serena Partridge.
