We're currently in the process of planning and finalising our Greening Arts Practice Session's for Autumn/Winter 2022.
The sessions will begin in September, and there will be a mixture of online and in-person dates.
To be notified when we release the dates, sign up to our CAD Newsletter.
'Gap sessions were brilliant for me to feel connected with other people and also driven to produce reactive work to climate collapse.’
– Anna Whitehouse, Previous GAP Mentee & Session participant
About our GAP Programme
GAP is a professional development programme to support artists’ practice and engagement with climate change and related environmental and sustainability issues. Our GAP Sessions each feature a visiting artist or creative, with talks and discussions incorporating a diverse range of approaches to art, ecological and sustainability issues.
To view our past GAP Sessions, see our website's archive here.
Out of our GAP Sessions, we have developed a GAP Guide: a guide for artists and arts organisations who want to develop a more environmentally responsible arts practice. The guide is free, and can be downloaded from the Chrysalis Arts Development website.
It brings together what we at Chrysalis Arts have learned about addressing the climate crisis, and other related issues, through over a decade of work in the area. It also features 11 case studies from a diverse range of artists and some examples of our own recent work.
